Michael Schumacher shows 'encouraging signs' of recovery

Schumacher’s agent confirmed that there were “small” indications that the stricken star’s condition was improving.

Michael Schumacher, the F1 legend who was involved in a skiing accident in the French Alps on December 29, is showing “small” signs that his condition is improving.

His agent, Sabine Kehm, said that they are very optimistic that the father of two will pull through.

This is positive news for his fans who were losing hope as five days ago, the doctors said that there was a very slim chance of recovery. They admitted last week that the F1 driver needed a miracle to be saved.

But Ms Kehm said today: "We are and remain confident that Michael will pull through and will wake up.

"There sometimes are small, encouraging signs, but we also know that this is the time to be very patient."
