Metcalfe's love threat

'Desperate Housewives' hunk Jesse Metcalfe has told girlfriend Nadine Coyle to quit Girls Aloud or he will end their relationship.

The couple, who met in Australia in February, are madly in love but living on opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean has taken its toll.

A source told Britain's Now magazine: "Jesse says he's completely fallen for Nadine, but dating someone who lives on the other side of the world is a constant struggle.

"Arranging to see each other is like a military operation."

Jesse, 27, has just finished filming the third series of 'Desperate Housewives' while Nadine, 21, is promoting the Girls Aloud greatest hits album.

Jesse is reportedly worried that Nadine split from her last boyfriend because her work commitments came between them, and is keen for her to move to the US.

A source said: "Jesse talked about wanting to start looking for a house to buy in Beverly Hills. He said he's totally in love with Nadine and sees a future if they can get over long-distance problems.

"He also suggested that Girls Aloud aren't going anywhere right now."
