Mel B 'walks out on husband Stephen Belafonte after blazing rows'

Spice Girl turned X Factor personality Mel B has reportedly walked out on her husband following allegations of domestic violence.

On Sunday, Mel B was seen in X Factor with bruised and swollen face with some speculating that her partner Stephen Belafonte had physically abused the star. Now, reports suggest that she had walked out on her husband and that her friends are urging her to formally break away from Stephen.

Stephen, on the other hand, had taken to Twitter to deny any speculation that he hit his wife.

He wrote: ‘I don't usually respond to Twitter msgs but I will respond to comments of hitting my wife which I think are quite disgusting un true!

'Mel was very ill a bunch of doctors helped her get better if fans can't just relax B4 being negative they r not real fans of @OfficialMelB.'

However, The Sun has reported that the 39-year-old former Spice Girl has packed up and left the home she shared with her husband following a heated argument.

A representative for Mel B has declined to comment.
