Meat Loaf to go on UK tour for the last time
Meat Loaf to quit live performances after the final UK tour.

Meat Loaf, who plans to retire from live performances in 2013, will go on his final tour across the country next year. The eight final arena dates have been confirmed.
The tour will begin at Newcastle’s Metro Arena on April 5th and will end in Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on April 21st, 2013. Tickets for the shows go on sale starting on December 21st at 9am.
The tour is billed as “a final goodbye to his fans”. The star is expected to perform his classic album Bat Of Hell at each show.
Meatloaf said: “I know the fans will enjoy the show as much as I enjoyed putting it together.”
The dates for the UK shows are as follows:
Newcastle, Metro Arena (April 05),
Glasgow, SECC (April 07),
London, The O2 Arena (April 07-10),
Birmingham, LG Arena (April 12),
Nottingham, Capital FM Arena (April 14),
Manchester, Manchester Arena (April 17),
Sheffield, Motorpoint Arena (April 19),
and Cardiff, Motorpoint Arena (April 21).
