Mark Bridger ‘probably responsible’ for April Jones’ death
Mark Bridger appeared in court over the case of missing schoolgirl April Jones

A court has heard that Mark Bridger, aged 47, was ‘probably responsible’ for the death of missing schoolgirl April Jones, although he denies three of the charges made against him which includes murder and abduction.
A defence representative told Mold Crown Court the information on Monday, it has emerged. This comes after April disappeared from Machynlleth, in Wales, back in October, 2012.
April’s parents Coral and Paul Jones attended court to witness the hearing.
A large search mission was put in place to find the five-year-old, with many members of the public helping to look for April. She was playing outside near her home when she disappeared.
Although, at the time of the search warnings were issued to the public to let professional bodies carry out the search; given the rough terrain and also weather conditions they were experiencing.
The accused was later remanded in custody, and is expected to appear at Mold Crown Court on February 25th where there will be a trial that will last for four weeks.
