Quentin Tarantino is planning to make a new kung-fu movie shot entirely in Mandarin.
The celebrated director, who most recently brought the Kill Bill films to cinema screens, is keen to stay true to the martial arts traditions he grew up with.
His next project will be released in two versions - one with English subtitles and one badly dubbed in keeping with the 1970s movies that influenced him so heavily during his formative years.
Tarantino told Total Film that he's keen to do another martial arts film before getting stuck into his much vaunted war epic, Inglorious B******s.
This long awaited project, which has been talked about since his Pulp Fiction days, could also be split into two instalments as, in Tarantino's own words, it is "ballooning".
Earlier this year Tarantino was linked with the James Bond franchise, urging the producers during a television interview to hire him to direct the next film.
