Man United lost 2-1 to Real Madrid on Tuesday night after playing with a team of only 10 men

Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United took defeat against Spanish ace football team Real Madrid on Tuesday night, 5th March. The reds lost 2-1 at home at Old Trafford in the second leg of the 16th round for the Champions League.
Man U kicked off with the upper hand having scored away from home in the first leg against the Spanish team.
Jose Mourinho reacted to his team Real Madrid coming out on top saying that “the best team lost”.
But even though the result was disappointing for Man U fans, the game certainly didn’t disappoint viewers. The fast-paced action together with the UK team having to play with 10 men provided plenty of drama.
It was Nani’s red card in the 56th minute that meant Manchester United had to soldier on one man down against the likes of Real star Cristiano Ronaldo.
