A successful world tour and string of business deals pushed her net worth past $1billion

Madonna, the Queen of Pop, joins an elite club of super-rich celebrities, which include director Steven Spielberg and chat show host Oprah Winfrey, as she is now worth a billion.

Last year is her most successful, career-wise. According to reports, the 54-year-old pop icon raked in an extra £200million from her MDNA tour, which was watched by two million people, and string of business deals.

 

These include her perfume range, health drink, and clothing line.
