Lydiard House WiFi Upgrade

Lydiard House, one of Swindon's much-loved attractions, is to be fitted with radio receiver for better WiFi.

Lydiard House is to be brought into the digitally-wired 21st century and is scheduled to be fitted with a point-to-point radio in order for it to have access to high speed wireless broadband service. 

 

The application by the borough council to its own planners, said: "The current broadband service offered by BT's conventional methods does not meet the ever-increasing demand for internet access.

 

"Cabling will be hidden or follow existing cable routes to blend in with the property's current infrastructure."
