Luma Temtem Hunting Guide 2021

And one the best features that everyone has been waiting for is the change to the luma system in the game. For those who didn’t even buy Temtem game yet, you can find the cheapest key offers at Gamecamp. Now, if you didn’t know, Luma is an ultra-rare version of the temtems, like the Pokemon games have shiny versions and it is extremely rare to find.

 

In the previous update of Temtem, your only shot at finding a Luma was to participate in the weekly Cypark event which could potentially increase your chances of finding a luma just a teensy bit but with this new update, Temtem has introduced a new item called radar that can significantly increase your chances of finding a luma.

 

How to use Radar to Hunt Luma?

 

We can use the radars to chain wild encounters together which will increase both the luma and SV odds but before that we need to get the radars. To obtain the radars, we need to defeat dojo leaders in competitive battles matches. It is also a very efficient way to grind pansuns and if you do so in your first attempt, you get almost 7k pansuns for each one.

 

Once you defeat a Dojo leader, you'll get a Temtem specific radar and the dojo leaders you defeat every week, will give you a radar each. You can activate these radars once you reach a specific Temtem's area or habitat and whilst it’s activated, you have to wait for a Temtem to spawn.

 

When that specific Temtem appears, you will have to engage in a battle with it and now you will see the chain counter at the top right corner which will increase as you defeat or capture the Temtem otherwise, the chain will break. Now the more chains you have the better your chances get, like at 300 chains the odds are decreased to like 1 in 1000.

 

Is it the only way to get a Luma?

 

No, there are many ways to increase your chances of getting a Luma but as I said earlier, Luma are extremely rare and no matter what you do or how hard you try it’s all about luck and patience. But if you really want to get it, you can buy luma for extremely cheap prices and save yourself some intense grinding and days or even weeks of wandering around and fighting battles.
