Comedy in the X-Factor auditions usually ends in disaster, but not for Lucy Spraggan who showed the audience just how to use comedy in the X Factor.
Spraggan, accompanied by her guitar, managed to get the crowd giggling and tapping their feet along with her during her performance which was aired at the weekend.
Her fab singing voice, combined with her funny lyrics such as “last night I called you a loser, that was after the flaming sambucca”, got her trending worldwide with hashtag #beerfear.
With her success in getting to the next stage of the competition, Lucy was a winner with Twitter celebs who tweeted their love for their new favorite.
Former X-Factor contestant’s Frankie Cocozza and Cher Lloyd were the first to tweet, with Cher posting: “Lucy was amaaaazing! She has just made the X Factor exciting!!! I’ve now got a reason to watch again! #xfactor”.
Frankie Cocozza also tweeted: “Lucy is my new favorite, tune. #beerfear”.
Louis, of popular boy band ‘One Direction’ also sent Lucy a personal congratulatory tweet: “@Louis_Tomlinson: @lspragganWell done baby! I’m a local lad from Doncaster! #comeonyorkshire”.
Gary Lucy, soon-to-be star from EastEnders, also said: “Love this girl! Wanna night out with her #xfactor”.
But, professional kickboxer Alex Reidhas other ideas for Lucy’s career: “Just watching girl totally smash it on Xfactor, sounded like Kooks. She was great and should get off show now. 2 good and show is risk 4 her talent.”
Although Jordon’s former lover,Alex, didn’t mention Lucy’s name it is thought he was referring to Spraggan.
