Rebecca Loos is set to appear in Sky One's football drama Dream Team.

David Beckham's former personal assistant, who claimed to have had an affair with the England skipper, said the acting role was a dream come true.

Her character, Naomi, has the job of helping Harchester United's stars keep their lives together off the pitch.

"This is a dream come true," Loos told The Sun. "I'm very excited."

Loos has a wealth of experience handling footballers and said she would draw on her past experiences and speak to some of her contacts in preparation for the role.

She will start filming next month and will appear on our screens early next year.

Dream Team, which follows the fortunes of a fictional football team, has been a massive hit for Sky.
