London Healthtech Prioritises Surgery

Draper and Dash designs a tool for hospitals to help lessen backlog of patients needing surgery.

London-based healthcare firm Draper and Dash has recently announced a tool that could help hospitals deal with a huge backlog of patients needing surgery once the lockdown eases. 

 

The firm's new tool will help doctors determine who should go to the top of the waiting list using artificial intelligence. It will prioritise eye surgery and cancer surgery to prevent blindness and identify patients who can survive surgery.
