London health tech startups join the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

Several London Health Tech Startups are lending their expertise and resources to help the NHS deal with the growing cases of coronavirus cases. Their contributions have proved to be valuable in easing the extra strain on the system.
AccuRX is one of the companies that now offer video chats with GP. The goal is to allow patients to get medical advice without leaving their homes and observe social distancing protocols. AccuRX, which is now being used by more than 3,500 practices, also allows patients to securely text their GPs to book an appointment or get their test results.
Babylon Health, on the other hand, focuses on tracking Covid-19 symptoms. It has taken the NHS by storm over the past few years with its GP at Hand service, which allows patients to video chat with their doctor. The company launched its Covid-19 care assistant in March, which allows people to check and track their symptoms. The service also offers NHS-approved information.
Echo is another platform that allows people to have their repeat prescriptions delivered directly to their homes without having to visit a GP or a pharmacy. Echo's users have grown substantially following the coronavirus outbreak. Co-founder and CEO Stephen Bourke said: "C-Day for us when Matt Hancock announced everyone over the age of 70 would be told to self-isolate. The impact was all of Echo's existing users, about 106 patients, all ordered at once."
