The youngest singer in the competition is to miss out on the semi-final after he received the lowest number of public votes.
The 16-year-old Welsh singer was the youngest X Factor contestant, but following a "shaky" performance, Daniels lost out on public support.
Saturday night's show was the first time this series that the results were entirely down to the public's votes.
Each of the hopefuls sang two songs each, one by Take That and another by Elton John.
However Daniels' rendition of 'I'm Still Standing' by Elton John failed to impress. Judge Simon Cowell criticised him for a "silly" song choice and Louis Walsh commented: "You're just about standing... it was a bit karaoke for me".
On leaving the show Daniels said: "I just want to be recognised, that's what I came here to do."
Essex born single mum Stacey Solomon, call centre worker Olly Murs, 18-year-old Joe McElderry and teacher Danyl Johnson are all through to next week's semi final.
Millions tuned in to watch the results show, which featured performances from stars Rihanna and Alicia Keys.
