Liverpool has recently confirmed radical changes for Anfield match goers as it pushes through with its plan for the full-scale return of supporters next season.
Last month, the Reds have resumed the process of ticket renewals and will now begin the auto-renewal of official memberships. This year, the club will start using ticketless technology that will make it easier for fans to exchange season tickets. All tickets will be in a digital form even when transferred to a friend or a family member.
The Reds are also set to introduce the friends and family programme which will grant access to official club channels so season ticket holders will be able to easily share their match tickets with their friends and loved ones.
To take advantage of this feature, recipients must be registered with the club before the campaign. All season ticket holders and official members can transfer their tickets to up to 20 friends and family members.
Liverpool expects to be able to host capacity crowds from the start of the next Premier League season in August.
From 18 May, official membership will be auto-renewed while existing members who have not signed up to the auto-renewals and non-members will be able to join when official memberships go on sale in June.
