Ex-sports star and TV personality Gary Lineker has wed his model girlfriend in a secret ceremony, said to have cost just £400.

The ‘Match of the Day’ host tied the knot with Danielle Bux in a laid back Italian service with just two witnesses.

The casual ceremony took place at the town hall in Ravello, on ItalyÂ’s Amalfi Coast.

A source reported to the Sun that the ex-England football player did not even wear a tie or jacket for the nuptials. Bux is said to have worn a simple cream dress in the ceremony that lasted only 10 minutes.

The service was conducted in Italian and translated by a local girl.

It is believed that a bigger wedding reception will follow, including a huge party over the weekend.

The couple recently came third in the ITV show ‘Hell's Kitchen’. They started dating two years ago, becoming engaged in September 2008.

Lineker divorced his first wife Michelle after 20 years of marriage in 2006. He has four sons: George, Harry, Tobias, and Angus.

Former air stewardess Bux has a seven-year-old daughter Ella from a previous relationship to ex-Coventry City footballer Adam Willis.
