In her first appearance after being ordered to enter rehab, Lindsay Lohan talked about her troubles with David Letterman to the point that she cried.
The actress, who appeared uncomfortable at some points during the interview because of questions about her recent troubles, says that she was an easy target and that her troubles stemmed from having family issues.
However, she said that this time, she is taking full responsibility. She also said that she thinks rehab is a good thing.
Letterman, who joked about her shoplifting charges and multiple court appearances, made Lohan cried after giving her words of encouragement. He said: “We'd never thought we see you again honestly because of the jokes and stuff.
“But yet you have enough spine, enough sense of yourself, enough poise to come out here and talk to me.”
Talking about her upcoming rehab stint, Lohan said: “I think it's a blessing and not a curse.”
The Mean Girls star added: “To be honest, I'm the happiest when I'm working and the healthiest. I think this is an opportunity for me to focus on what I love in life.”
