Leviton Connect with Nest

Leviton debuts new connection capabilities with Nest devices for easier operation.

On March 26, Leviton launched new connection capabilities with a wide range of Nest devices through the Works with Nest program. This allows Nest Learning Thermostats, Nest Cam and Nest Protect to work together with Leviton Decora Smart with WiFi technology to automate homeowners’ lights.

 

The free My Leviton app does not require technical knowledge to synch up to a user’s Nest account. Once the two systems are synched up, users can have their Leviton lights turn on anytime a Nest Cam detects motion or whenever the Nest Protect detects carbon monoxide or smoke in the home.
