Less Packaging at Lush

Lush to open a high-tech concept store in Manchester.

Lush is set to open a 'naked' concept store that allows customers to scan items via an app to reduce packaging. Located in Machester, it is the first in the UK and third worldwide. The first two stores have already been successfully launched in Milan and Berlin. 

 

Starting January 18, Lush shoppers can visit the store and get detailed ingredient information and "how to use" instructions digitally by using the #LushLabs app. The app uses machine learning that recognises every products in the store via the shopper's smartphone camera.
