Leeds Digital Festival Awards
Leeds Digital Festival to honour the finest digital businesses in the region.
13:55 28 July 2020
The third annual Leeds Digital Festival Awards, which was postponed early this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, will be re-launched to shine the spotlight on the brightest and best tech businesses in the region. This year's event is sponsored by PanIntelligence, Leeds City Council, the University of Leeds, Little Agency, Ad:venture, Crisp and Sedulo.
A panel of experts, which consists of Cleveland Henry (UKCloud Health), Greg Wright (The Yorkshire Post), Zandra Moore (CEO of Panintelligence) and Eve Roodhouse will select the final nominees.
Commenting on her role as a judge, Eve Roodhouse said: "I'm delighted to be a judge for the 2020 Leeds Digital Festival Awards, and there is much for us to feel optimistic about in the city.
"This is a great way for us showcasing some of the areas where we can still do a lot together as a city.
"We are going to have our challenges in terms of the economy, but I think the tech and digital sector has a big role to play in terms of the momentum that the sector has, and how the sector can play it's role in supporting the city and the region during this recovery.
Leeds Digital Festival co-founder and Director, Stuart Clarke, said: "It's great to see the Leeds Digital Festival Awards rescheduled and return for the third year. They're a reflection of the ethos behind the whole festival and its good to bring the digital sector together for a night of celebration and collaboration - in whatever format they may now be in."
The rescheduled event will take place on the 30th of September, with the final format in line with the latest public health guidelines.
