Leeds Digital Festival
Digital festival prepares for record breaking V.2.0.

Leeds Digital Festival 2020 is set to host a record-breaking 294 events from September 21 to October 2. The two-week festival is highlighted by events arranged by esteemed organisations, including Raspberry Pi, Deloitte, Asda, ODI Leeds and BJSS.
A spokesman said: "The festival was due to announce 250 physical events for its April edition but was forced to switch to online festival because of the Covid-19 and 135 online events were subsequently organised within three weeks.
"The September Festival will feature mainly virtual events, but will also have a number of physical events."
Participants include Leeds City Council, which organised a Tech in China event featuring Alibaba, and the Embassy of Israel, which is set to put on two events. There are four events from the Department of International Trade and a Eurocities conferences. Sponsors for this year's event are Channel 4, the University of Leeds, Leeds City Council, TPP and Crisp.
Festival Director Stuart Clarke said: "I often say that the Leeds tech community is the most collaborative in the UK and to host almost 300 events in our second festival of the year goes a long way to prove that.
"The Leeds Digital Festival is the most varied tech event in the country, with events covering all aspects of the sector, from healthtech to data to coding to cyber security."
