There is something about Corrie shopman Dev Alahan - women keep falling for him.

Sultry and psychopathic lawyer Maya Sharma went loopy over the cornershop supremo. But Sunita Parekh expressed her own affection and Dev fell for the shop girl.

In fact, working in the shop seems to do funny things to a girl's head - as shortly after stunning stripper Leanne Battersby starts working there she too falls for Dev.

That is according to the Sun newspaper, which adds that Leanne only gets the job at the shop to let overworked - but no longer overlooked - Sunita a night off.

Leanne hits on Dev when she finds herself alone with the unlikely stud.

But Dev is not easily tempted and sacks Leanne for her troubles.

"She gets it totally wrong. Dev is horrified and gives her the boot," an insider told the Sun.
