Cheating Corrie couple Leanne and Danny get sprung by his wife Frankie - although she turns out to be barking up completely the wrong tree.

Frankie, played by Debra Stephenson, is convinced Leanne is cheating on her boyfriend Jamie - Danny's son - and confronts her at a hotel out of town, the Sun reports.

But she has no idea that Leanne's bit on the side is actually her very own husband Danny, played by Bradley Walsh - and he is forced to do a runner to stop her finding out.

He and Leanne, played by Jane Danson, have been sneaking around Weatherfield together for some time but decide to go away for a weekend to get some privacy.

The trip to the hotel brings them into dangerous territory as Danny decides he really quite likes his son Jamie's girlfriend - and Leanne feels the same.

Their wicked weekend comes to an abrupt end, however, when Frankie follows them and sets off the fire alarm to force them outside.

When only Leanne turns up - Danny having scarpered out of another entrance - the two women have a massive showdown in the street.

Lying Leanne insists she is only there for an interview and Frankie is forced to return home none the wiser. But for how long?
