Lay-dee Robbie
Music
13:30 01 April 2005
Robbie Williams kept the women's' clothes he wore when he appeared as a transvestite on a special charity episode of 'Little Britain'.
Williams, who dressed up as "lay-dee" on the show, starring Matt Lucas and David Walliams, for Comic Relief, took the outfit home with him and hasn't given it back to the costumes department.
Lucas revealed Williams was keen to wear the costume on the day and looked good in it too.
He said: "He couldn't get into that dress fast enough. I thought he was simply dashing as a lady."
The 'Angels' singer filmed the sketch earlier this year appearing with the two TV funny men in the famed 'rubbish transvestite' sketches.
In the routine, Robbie discovers a love of female attire when he wanders into a store run by cross-dressing characters Emily and Florence who convince him to put on the dress.
He then exclaims: "I do feel really comfortable dressed like this. I feel myself for the first time. I'm a lay-dee!"
