09:48 06 February 2012
Charlene Tilton has become the latest star to be eliminated from Dancing on Ice.
The Dallas actress left exited the competition after falling into the bottom two alongside Sam Nixon, after audience votes were combined with the judgesÂ’ scores.
After the two celebrities returned to the ice to battle it out in the skate-off, Tilton found herself ejected from the competition.
First Louie Spence gave his vote to Nixon, commenting that he "delivered when the heat was on".
Head Judge Robin Cousins followed suit, also picking Nixon to go through to next weekÂ’s show.
Katarina Witt then confirmed that she too would have gone with childrenÂ’s television presenter Nixon, despite praising TiltonÂ’s second performance.
Speaking to hosts Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley about her exit, the actress said:
"You know, I feel alright and I'll tell you why - I have had the most amazing experience... I have gotten to meet these amazing pro skaters, God love you, you take such good care of us."
Turning her comments to mentors Torvill and Dean, she added:
"I'm in the presence of greatness. You two always walk with such humility in the midst of your greatness."
She finally addressed Louis Spence, shouting:
"Louie, I'm taking you to L.A.!"
Dancing on Ice continues with a ValentineÂ’s Day special on Sunday, 12 February at 6.30pm on ITV1.
