Kim Cattrall once refused to perform a scene in 'Sex and the City' - because her character had to give a 14-year-old girl advice on oral sex.

The 48-year-old actress - who played man-eater Samantha Jones in the hit sitcom - was so horrified when the producers wanted her character to talk to a teenage girl about the sex act she instantly refused and made them change her lines.

She said: "I just absolutely refused. I said: 'Samantha would never do that.' I had a very specific idea of what she would say, which was, 'You get to be this young once. Just enjoy being a girl before you get the responsibility of being a woman.'"

The blonde beauty also admits she used to lie in bed at night worrying about the lines the scriptwriters had given Samantha to say.

She added in an interview with Britain's Culture magazine: "Each week, I would get the script and think, how the hell am I going to make this real and not a cliché? Sometimes it was luck, sometimes it was staying up all night.

"It would get to the point where I would come to work and they would say, 'Don't worry, Kim will work it out.' And invariably, I would."
