'24' star Kiefer Sutherland reportedly demonstrated his karate skills during a heavy drinking session.

The actor, accompanied by several "rowdy" friends, is said to have gone into Los Angeles' Ye Rustic Inn bar at 9am and asked staff to start a tab.

According to US magazine Steppin' Out, after

Being presented with the massive bill, Sutherland claimed he couldn't pay, telling staff: "My wallet's been stolen! I promise I'll come back and pay."

The handsome star then launched into a "series of karate kicks in the middle of the floor" while staff and bemused customers looked on.

A fan came to Sutherland's aid, paid the bill and treated the actor to more booze.

After devouring a plate of chicken wings, Sutherland left.

A representative for the star has refused to comment on the actor's alleged antics.
