Keira Knightley's mother has written a play for her daughter - but is too scared to let her star in it.
The actress' mum, Sharman MacDonald, would love her daughter to act in the play but says she's so worried it will get a negative response, she won't even show her the script.
She said: "I always assume the worst, so I don't want anybody blaming themselves for anything that happens to any of my work."
Sharman, a former actress, also admitted she was completely in awe of Keira's acting ability.
She added: "At first acting was a tremendous joy for me and then the terror grew. It scared me to death. But Keira has such grace, she's extraordinary."
Meanwhile, Keira recently revealed she was considering quitting acting to become a bricklayer.
She said: "Everyone laughs when I say I'm looking into bricklaying. But I decided if an apocalypse ever comes I'd like to be a skilled labourer and not be left behind at a campfire making gruel.
"My friend's looking for a job and we discovered you can get £15 to £30 an hour for bricklaying."
