With Obama’s face, Democrat donkey symbol, red, white, and blue stars and strips painted on her fingers, Katy Perry could not be more vocal about her political beliefs.
On Sunday the singer hosted a fundraising concert which was reportedly attended by about 6,000 people. Perry performed on stage where she wrapped herself in the American flag.
She later Tweeted: “I sang for President Barack Obama last night because I believe in Equal Rights For All.”
The singer hosted the fundraising event together with Jennifer Hudson who showed off her slim figure in a blue dress. Other celebrities who were thought to have attended the event included George Clooney and Jon Bon Jovi.
Obama graced the stage and said, as quoted by Mail Online: “Everybody here is incredible professionals, they're such great friends and they just perform flawlessly night after night. I can't always say the same. “
This statement came after his weak debate appearance against Romney Wednesday, October 3rd, in Denver.
