Kate Middleton bikini pics to be published in Australia

Following an Italian magazine’s plans to publish pics of pregnant Kate Middleton, an Oz mag may also publish pictures

Pictures of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wearing her bikini while on holiday are planned for publication on Wednesday, 13th February, by Italian magazine Chi, and now an Australian magazine may also publish images of Kate, it has emerged.

The popular royal couple Prince William and Kate Middleton are understood to be on holiday in the Caribbean, and now they may face a fresh situation with regards to pictures being taken.

Pregnant Kate is believed to have been snapped while walking on a beach with Prince Wills in Mustique.

St. James’ Palace has hit out at the news, calling it a ‘breach of privacy’. A spokesperson for St. James’ Palace said: “We are disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas.”

And Woman’s Day, an Australian magazine, could also publish pictures of Kate in their edition on Monday, 18th February. Reportedly the Australian mag is claiming the pics were taken while the Duchess was on a public beach.

It is unsure whether other media outlets will follow suit and publish images of Kate, although arguably it is hoped that British newspapers and magazines will refrain from doing so.

Previously Kate faced the situation where topless pictures of herself emerged, however newspapers and magazines in Britain did not published the images.

Prince Wills and Kate sought legal action over the incident last year and were granted an injunction in France. Although, this did not prohibit pictures of Kate being published in magazines in Europe.

With regards to images of the monarchy and UK newspapers however, naked pictures of Prince Wills’ brother Prince Harry, who has served with the military in Afghanistan, were published by UK newspaper The Sun. The images were taken while Prince Harry was partying in Las Vegas.

Italian magazine Chi is owned by Italian politician Silvio Berlusconi, who used to be Prime Minister of Italy.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their first-born child this summer. News of Kate’s pregnancy emerged after she was taken ill in hospital in December with severe morning sickness.
