Actress Kate Hudson has confessed to taking drugs.

The screen beauty said she experimented with illegal substances out of curiosity - but has no interest them anymore.

She admitted: "I've experimented with drugs.

"I think there's a point in everybody's life where they experiment because they're intrigued - but not now.

She added to Britain's Night & Day:

"I'm not a drug person. I just never cared.

I have no interest in hard drugs. I'm totally turned off by that."

Meanwhile, Kate has revealed the secret to a happy marriage is putting your man first.

The screen beauty - who is married to singer Chris Robinson - admitted it's easy to forget men like to feel they're in charge in a relationship.

She revealed: "I feel that when you're a working woman, and you work really hard, you can lose sight of the fact that men need to feel that they wear the trousers.

"I believe it's important to make them feel they're cared for."
