Iconic Wuthering Heights songstress Kate Bush is set to make a comeback 35 years after she announced her retirement from touring. The 55-year-old is set to go back on stage for series of gigs including a 15-date residency at the Hammersmith Apollo.
The announcement was made through her official website where it was revealed that the shows are entitled Before The Dawn.
Tickets go on sale March 28. The confirmed dates are: August 26, 27, 29, 30, September 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 19
Bush has previously talked about making a comeback three years ago saying that she would love to go on stage again before she become “too ancient.”
During an interview with Mojo Magazine in 2011, she said: "[Touring] was enormously enjoyable. But physically it was absolutely exhausting," she said.
"I still don't give up hope completely that I'll be able to do some live work, but it's certainly not in the picture at the moment because I just don't quite know how that would work with how my life is now."
"Maybe I will do some shows some day. I'd like to think so before I get too ancient."
