Pop singer Justin Bieber has pleaded guilty to charges of careless driving and resisting arrest.
The move puts an end to a legal saga that began seven months ago when he was caught racing illegally in the streets of Florida using a rented Lamborghini.
Miami-Dade County Judge William Altfield accepted the plea on Wednesday and said: "I hope that he realizes that his actions not only lead to consequences that affect him but they lead to consequences that affect others that are looking up to him as a role model.
"He just hopefully will get the message. He will grow up. He will use his talents positively for young persons."
The plea deal doesn’t include jail time but Bieber will have to attend a 12-hour anger management course.
Baby singer Bieber will also donate $50,000 to a specific charity and will pay $500 fine. He is also to avoid a conviction of driving under the influence. The charge of driving with an expired license was dropped after the singer showed proof that he had a valid one.
