Former I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! contestants Jordan and Peter Andre got married in lavish style on Saturday, with their extravagant big day threatening to overshadow the nuptials of four other celebrity couples also tying the knot yesterday.
The pair, who met on the set of the reality TV show in Australia in January 2004, allegedly signed a 2 million deal to give OK magazine exclusive pictures of the ceremony at Highclere Castle, in Berkshire.
Glamour model Jordan, 27, arrived for the wedding by helicopter, while bridesmaid and fellow I'm A Celebrity pal Kerry Katona, 24, arrived by minibus, the Sunday Mirror claims.
The paper reports that around 350 guests attending the ceremony arrived at the venue in blacked out cars to avoid jeopardising the magazine deal over Jordan's big day.
After flying in for the ceremony, the bride made her grand entrance in a pink horse-drawn carriage, The People reports.
Jordan, real name Katie Price, reportedly wore a long pink dress with a 27-foot train on her big day.
Marrying in the castle's library in front of showbiz pals including Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding and Liberty X's Michelle Heaton, the newlyweds signed the register to the sound of a choir singing Stevie Wonder's hit Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours, the Sunday Mirror claims.
In keeping with Jordan's favourite colour pink, guests were allegedly then treated to pink champagne in a marquee in the castle grounds, which was decked out with a pink carpet and pink drapes.
Jordan and pop star Andre, 32, allegedly hired 25 bodyguards to keep their wedding under wraps.
Meanwhile, the nuptials of Coronation Street star Samia Ghadie, 22, were also being kept away from prying eyes yesterday after the soap star followed Jordan's example and decided to sell exclusive rights to
her wedding to a celebrity magazine.
The bride, who married businessman Matthew Smith in a Cheshire church, arrived for the ceremony wearing a blanket in order to hide her dress from the paparazzi, The People reports.
GMTV Kate Garraway also sold rights to a magazine over her wedding to former spin doctor Derek Draper at a ceremony in central London yesterday.
Other celebrities making it down the aisle on Saturday included Prince Charles' stepson Tom Parker Bowles, who married fashion journalist Sara Buys and supermodel Jodie Kidd, who wed internet whizkid Aidan Butler.
