Angelina Jolie has hinted she may have had an affair with co-star Brad Pitt while shooting 'Mr and Mrs Smith'.

The screen beauty, who has always denied she became romantically involved with Pitt on the set of the action movie, has now claimed she always falls "in love" with her leading men.

When quizzed on the subject, she said: "I have always developed deep ties with actors who have played alongside me. I always fall in love."

Rumours have been rife in recent months the couple's alleged affair led to the break up of Brad's four-year marriage to Jennifer Aniston.

Jolie went on to admit it was "difficult" working with the Hollywood heavyweight during his marriage break-up.

Meanwhile, Jolie's stormy love life is to be turned into a film by her former assistant.

Patricia Ebert has written a screenplay based on the screen beauty's tempestuous marriage, and subsequent split, from director and actor Billy Bob Thornton.

It is believed the script contains numerous scenes which are based on the couple's life together.
