J.Lo's secret hospital visits

Jennifer Lopez has revealed she makes secret visits to dying children.

The 35-year-old star has confessed that she has been regularly visiting youngsters at Los Angeles' Children's Hospital for over a year.

She told American magazine Latina: "It was amazing seeing these kids being so strong - being eight years old and having cancer but still waking up and smiling every day."

J.Lo, who has made no secret of her desire to start a family with third husband Marc Anthony, also said the visits made her feel humble.

The sexy star admitted that she had developed close bonds with the children she visited and they had given her a better perspective on life.

She said: "You start out wanting to help, and you wind up learning and growing. It puts things in perspective.

"It's made me realise how lucky I am and taught me what real strength is."

The Latin singer also paid tribute to the doctors working at the hospital.

She added: "It's an important thing that no matter how little money you have, you can go someplace if your child is sick.

"And that somebody is going to try to make your child better. That's why I do this."
