The Prince's Trust 2012 comedy gala is set for 28th November and will be held at the Albert Hall in London. Being added to the line-up for the evening, which is called ‘We Are Most Amused’, are some of Britain’s comical figures.
Now, comedians Jimmy Carr and Miranda Hart, as well as actor Rowan Atkinson, are expected to appear at the gala. Not to mention The Midnight Beast comedy trio.
The event looks to raise funds for the Trust. Other acts that were rumoured to be included in the bill are Justin Lee Collins and Dame Edna Everage, as well as trust supporters Stephen K Amos, Patrick Kielty, Helen Lederer to name a few.
It is thought that Ben Elton could write a sketch for the evening.
Stand-up comedian Hart, aged 39, who is famous for her BBC sitcom Miranda, commented on her involvement. She is quoted by Digital Spy saying: “I'm looking forward to this event hugely - a fantastic line-up for a very important cause.”
She continued: “Raising money and sharing a stage with Rowan Atkinson - it's going to be a great night.”
Jimmy Carr, known for his humorous delivery of one-liners, has been a panel host on the TV show 8 out of 10 Cats. While Rowan Atkinson, famed for his part in TV sitcom Blackadder, has appeared as Mr. Bean both in TV sitcoms and films.
