It is confirmed! James Corden will return to present the Brit Awards 2013. The Gavin & Stacey actor come presenter made headlines last year after cutting short singer Adele’s acceptance speech.
The Brit Awards is scheduled for February 20th, 2013, at London’s 02 Arena. Radio 1 Breakfast Show DJ Nick Grimshaw is expected to host the nominations launch on January 10th, 2013.
Meanwhile, Damien Hirst will design the statues for the winners. He is apparently famous for featuring rotting cow’s head, dead flies, and preserved sharks in his works.
Brits Chairman, David Joseph, said: “We are delighted that Damien will become the third extraordinary creative Briton to reimagine the Brit statue.
“He is truly one of the most important British artists ever and his unique vision will make winning a 2013 Brit an even more special proposition.”
