Jackie Chan's son sentenced to six months over drugs offences
Jaycee Chan was sentenced to six months in prison on Friday following his admission to drugs offences.

Jaycee Chan, the son of martial arts action film icon Jackie Chan, was sentenced to six months on Friday after he admitted to drugs offences. The actor and singer will be released in mid-February, having already spent five months in jail.
Following the sentencing, The Dongcheng District People’s Court posted the information on their verified social media account saying: "He was convicted. He has been sentenced to six months in jail and fined 2,000 RMB (renminbi )".
Appearing attentive and respectful of the proceedings, he said in court: "I broke the law. I deserve to be punished. When I return to society, I definitely won't do it again."
Chan was arrested in August and was charged with providing a venue for others to use drugs. Police found 100 grams of marijuana at his home in the Beijing.
Following Jaycee’s arrest, Jackie Chan took to China’s Twitter-like Sina Weibo saying that he was “extremely angry and extremely shocked.”
"As a public figure, I am ashamed. As a father I feel terrible," he said in August.
