Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh has given birth to a baby girl, it has been confirmed.
A spokesperson for the ITV1 soap said:
"Jamie Lomas and Kym Marsh are delighted to announce that they are the proud parents of a baby girl Polly Lomas.
"Polly was born on Wednesday evening (23 March) weighing 4lbs 1oz. Mum and baby are doing well."
The star admitted herself to Manchester Royal Infirmary on 22 March after going into premature labour.
She was also forced to take early maternity leave from Coronation Street after coming down with the flu.
Thirty-four-year-old Marsh already has two children, David and Emily, and Lomas has a son, Billy.
The couple tragically lost their first child together, son Archie, in 2009 after he was born 18 weeks early.
