Is Yoghurt Making Us Fat?
A great deal of yoghurt being sold in the market makes us overweight because they are not made of natural stuff.

Yoghurt is one of the most common items in our shopping basket and most of us spend more on it than on crisps and bacon. Natural full fat yoghurt offers a lot of health benefits as it boosts the immune system, which is good for the bones and at satisfying hunger.
The problem is that a good number of yoghurt available in the market today is processed, which means that instead of 100% natural ingredients, they are partly made of gelatin, flavourings and sugar. It tends to be cheaper to produce per calorie but nowhere near as good for you.
Campaigners now call on stricter restrictions on the food industry believing the way food is now produced, marketed and promoted is partly to be blamed for the growing obesity crisis. They also welcome the proposed tax on sugary drinks, which was announced earlier this year and due to take effect in 2018. Other steps being taken into consideration include a more substantial restriction on advertising, an end to promotions such as buy-one-get-one-free deals and clearer labelling.
