Intecho, a Knutsford-based provider of intelligent technologies and home automation solutions, has credited its massive growth to the exploding Internet of Things (IoT) movement. Founded in 2010 by Paul Murphy and Ben Patterson, Intecho has quickly established itself as a leading supplier of smart technologies to some of the UK’s most exclusive and high-profile hospitality venues including The Ivy, Sexy Fish Restaurant and Annabel’s night club.
Paul said: “As the reality of smart homes and buildings becomes tangible, we’re seeing unprecedented demand from the hospitality sector as it too looks to deliver the intelligent and reactive environment consumers are increasingly expecting.
“The evolution of technology has enabled the control and automation of a building so that it can respond, intelligently, to the needs, preferences and behaviours of its inhabitants. Through a powerful combination of expertise, creativity and attention to detail, we can bring to life our clients’ buildings through intuitive changes in light, temperature, entertainment and ambience.
“Our new appointments will help to bolster our team enabling us to continue to drive forward our ambitious growth plans, as we aim to become the go-to supplier of highly sophisticated building systems both within the commercial and high-end residential markets.”
