Inbetweeners star Emily Atack received chilling death threats on Twitter

Emily was told it was "time for her to leave this world"

Another celebrity has received death threats through microblogging site Twitter. Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, was told by an anonymous writer that it was “time for her to leave this world.”

Emily Atack, who plays Charlotte Hinchcliffe in the popular E4 comedy, reported abusive tweets to police.

A Bedfordshire police spokeswoman has confirmed they received the complaint and that the investigation is ongoing. 

 

The Twitter user said: "Emily its time 4 u to leave this world..."

 

The star responded on Twitter after alerting the police by saying: "Prison for you"

She also told sympathetic fans: "Hi all, thanks for your nice tweets! Police are on the case. X"
