Cheryl Cole has had a bit of a hard time of late, but thereÂ’s one member of Girls Aloud who has no sympathy for the former US X Factor judge.

Nadine Coyle has apparently been overheard calling her bandmate a failure, during a rant in a New York bar last week.

Heat magazine is reporting that the Insatiable singer didnÂ’t hold back, saying:

"I have more talent in my little finger. Why should I be jealous of a failure?

"Cheryl got way too big for her boots. She thought she could walk on water and had to learn the hard way that things donÂ’t always work out as planned.

"People donÂ’t know the real Cheryl like I do."

Despite CoyleÂ’s claims, a source told the magazine that the 26-year-old had always appeared jealous of ColeÂ’s solo success:

"When Cheryl got the US X Factor job, Nadine couldnÂ’t understand why.

"Nadine thought it was ironic, as she had always felt she was the ‘best singer in the band’."

This outburst will do nothing to smooth the way for the Girls Aloud reunion, which is set for next year.

Nadine, who recently split from her fiancé Jason Bell, released her debut solo album exclusively through Tesco last year.

It reached number 47 in the UK charts.
