Kylie Minogue has revealed that she may adopt or use a surrogate mother to have children.
The Australian star has previously suggested that she may not be able to have children naturally following her battle with breast cancer in 2005.
When asked if she would consider the adoption or surrogacy route, the 42-year-old said:
“I do think about them and I would absolutely look into those options because children and family are very important to me. It’s something in my mind.
“I would really love to be a mother, but I just don't think it can ever happen. After everything I've been through - the treatment for breast cancer - I may not actually be able to conceive.”
Minogue also hinted that marriage may be around the corner for her.
Kylie has been in a relationship with Spanish model Andres Velencoso Segura for three years.
‘All guns blazing’
She told Grazia magazine: “I have a very special man. I might get married, you never know...”
The Spinning Around singer was diagnosed with cancer during her Showgirl tour in 2005, undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy and also having a mastectomy.
She was given the provisional all-clear in 2006 and will celebrate five years all-clear at the end of February this year.
Talking to the Daily Mail, Kylie said: "The five-year mark is the end of this month and I feel like I'm back with all guns blazing.”
The singer is currently at the beginning of a world tour, which kicked off on 19 February in Denmark.
She will play 14 dates in the UK, five of which will be held at the O2 Arena in London.
