Moors murderer Ian Brady is to speak at a tribunal on Tuesday, 25th June, which will be the first time he speaks publicly in five decades.
This comes after Ian Brady’s Mental Health Tribunal which has been taking place at Ashworth Hospital in Merseyside.
Ian Brady is calling for him to be moved from hospital to prison.
The 75-year-old has been being fed via a tube at Ashworth Hospital. This is due to him having started his hunger strike in 1999.
However, it has been reported that on Monday, 24th June, the Mental Health Tribunal heard that Ian Brady supposedly eats toast ‘every morning’ and also has packet soup.
Based on reports, a member of staff at the hospital claims Ian Brady, who is provided with food on a regular basis, consumes food on ‘most days’.
Ian Brady was sent to prison in 1966 after he and Myra Hindley tortured and murdered five children.
Myra Hindley died in jail over a decade ago at the age of 60 years old.
