How To Make Chocolate Taste Better
A “food architect†says that chocolate will taste even better if you eat it in the bath.

To celebrate the re-launch of their Continental range, Thorntons teamed up with Bompas & Parr to discover ways on how to make chocolate taste better.
Sam Bompas, who built a “sensory accumulator” using sensory deprivation technology, shared what his team learned from their experiments:
1. Unbiased visual impression helps you taste better. So eat chocolates in a space with north-facing light. This shouldn’t be an issue as in most houses, the bathroom tends to be north-facing because the living room and kitchen are typically south-facing to capture the most sunlight through the day.
2. Tasting is better in spaces that are lined in white tiles.
3. Making sure that the bathroom is clean from clutter, unpleasant odour and outside noise will definitely help.
4. Float in the bath to create a sense of weightlessness. A warm bath creates the most comfortable experience.
5. Keep these tips in mind: always start with a clean palate, take the time to enjoy the chocolate, avoid cold water, keep it out of the fridge, let it melt and add a little salt.
