The Big Brother housemates passed their ghost train task last night and received a reward for their labours.
The inmates completed the course in 15 minutes and 57 seconds, with John's ride declared void after the vehicle developed a fault and came to a halt.
Bez was first to take up the gauntlet, donning a blindfold, whilst Jeremy barked directions from the sidelines.
Happy Monday's dancer Bez struggled to negotiate the course, popping several of balloons as he steered his vehicle around.
A viscous liquid of water, cottage cheese and treacle was released on his head for every balloon burst with his spiky helmet.
Brigitte showed up Bez's weaknesses, steering her way round the course in fine fashion.
A worried John was last to take up the task but saw his ride grind to a halt in the middle of the course.
"I'm sorry. I can't help it," he whined.
"Why me?" asked John.
Despite the engineering breakdown, Big Brother announced the task was over and completed.
Caprice was truly jubilant, singing "we are the champions".
The reward - a keg of beer found in the living area.
Big Brother informed the housemates they had been awarded a Bierkeller party, complete with lederhosen, a tap of beer and an array of juicy sausages.
Housemates eagerly assumed their Bavarian attire that included hats with feathers and white knee socks, and then got down to some serious supping and yodelling.
A CD also arrived containing Austrian folk music and various pop songs to set the atmosphere.
Bez and Kenzie are joint favourites to win BB at 15/8, according to bookies William Hill.
Jeremy is next at 5/1, with Brigitte at 11/2. John McCririck is at 6/1, Caprice 16/1 and Lisa the 33/1 outsider.
