After weeks of heavy rainfall, the UK is expected to bask in plenty of warm weather that could drive more people to beaches, parks, and gardens after temperatures hit 20C in London and the South.
After some sunny spells over the weekend, Wednesday and Thursday look set to be the best days in the South although rain can be expected during the weekend when the temperatures can drop again.
A spokesman for Meteogroup said: ‘The weather is looking pretty good until Friday. The next few days, especially in the South, will continue to be reasonable. Wednesday should be a very nice day.’
One of the many people enjoying the sunshine was 39-year-old Debbie Jones from Ringwood in Hampshire. She was quoted by The Daily Mail: ‘I have to keep reminding myself that it is March and just a few weeks ago we had torrential rain.
'My daughter is having such a lovely time building sandcastles and paddling in the sea. It almost feels like summer.’
